Yellow Gold Garnet Engagement Ring

Curse these gloomy winter evenings! I just wasn’t able to capture the beauty of this oval garnet gemstone. It was a deep rich colour, but with a red glow that you can’t see here. Oh well, I’ll just have to make more garnet rings and try and photograph them instead!
It is a 2mm round band of 9ct recycled yellow gold with an oval 6x4mm red garnet ~

I love this ring, it has an almost Roman feel to it I think. Simple and beautiful.
