I do enjoy making these scattered sapphire and diamond rings. They’re all slightly different – width of ring, mix of stones, etc – but all with a simple beauty.
Usually the smallest sapphires I can ethically source are 2mm but I’ve recently been in touch with Nineteen48 who are hopefully going to be getting a mix of small sapphires cut and I will be buying up a batch so please do drop me a line if you’re interested in something similar to this. The sapphires can be mixed with white or coloured diamonds as well.
This ring was made for a customer who had lost her engagement ring. And guess what turned up not long after my ring arrived? Yep. Sod’s law, huh? She plans to wear them both together anyway.
