It's suddenly not long until Christmas! With some alarm, I peeked at my diary to discover that there are only 3 weeks of the school term left...which means only 3 weeks of making...which means final ordering and postage dates are rapidly approaching! Therefore -

My last date for made to order pieces will be Tuesday 1 December.

As this is only a couple of days away, I have added a Christmas Gift List to my shop with pieces that are in stock and ready to ship in time for Christmas. All of my jewellery comes beautifully gift wrapped, perfect for gift giving. I'm also happy to post direct to the recipient with a gift note on request.

Last Order Dates:

'Made to order' pieces - Tuesday 1 December

'Ready to ship pieces' - Friday 11 December

Last Postage Dates:

International orders: Friday 4 December

UK orders: Friday 18 December

Gift Vouchers

Of course, buying jewellery for a loved one can be difficult thing to get right. What's their ring size? Do they prefer dangly or stud earrings? Polished or satin finish? There can potentially be a lot of decisions!

Hopefully you can find something in my Christmas Gift List that hits the spot. But alternatively, you may find that a gift voucher is a good option for you.

By giving a gift voucher, you are giving the gift of being involved in the unique process of bespoke jewellery making. Your loved one will be consulted at all stages so that they end up with the perfect piece of jewellery for them. It may even be that they have some unworn or inherited jewellery that can be remodelled into a new treasure for an extra sentimental piece.

Possessing another 'thing' is only part of the story - the conversation and the process are just as important, if not more so, in this toughest of years.

Gift vouchers are available in any amount you like and are valid for a whole year.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me this year and hello to any new newsletter followers who have found me either through the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, or via Just A Card Indie Week. Although these events are over, it bears repeating that it's been a tough year for everyone, especially small independent businesses. And with Christmas Events cancelled and Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales, please try to spare a moment to celebrate independent shops and makers.

I'm not saying don't get your Black Friday bargain...but if you can also spread the love and purchase some of your Christmas presents from an independent this year, I can assure you that a little goes a long way. Thank you! @justacard
